We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to join our existing team due to the growth of the company. The role will be responsible for developing and delivering an effective Asset Care System within our Print Facility to ensure Bluetree Group achieve ‘continuous production’ to required world-class quality standards, and Bluetree Group facilities are maintained to required regulatory standards, whilst maintaining a safe working environment.
We need an outstanding Maintenance Manager to lead the engineering activities to establish and maintain safe, compliant, and effective engineering operations. Continually develop the asset care assets and facility assets, to meet near and medium-term business objectives. Drive the engineering team and processes to provide good manufacturing practices that comply with Health & Safety, environmental and regulatory standards.
The Role:
- Maintain efficient operation of all Print equipment with the factory
- Co- ordinate the activities of the team under his/her control
- To train/develop the team under his/her control in order to obtain the required engineering operational efficiency
- Identify and nurture talent within their team
- Ensures that the engineering information systems are effectively developed and managed to maximise their effectiveness
- To coordinate Health and Safety arrangements for the maintenance operations: risk assessments and method statements, site inspections, contractor supervision, accident and near miss investigations, compliance with standards (fire, lifting and handling equipment, energy isolation, work at height…)
- To oversee with the maintenance planner, the planning, purchasing and inventory management of mechanical, electrical, critical spares and general consumables for the repair and maintenance of Print and facility assets.
Skills Required:
- Either Time Served engineer with supervisory/management experience or HND or above with supervisory/management experience
- Facility /utility maintenance experience
- Health and Safety IOSH or NEBOSH
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience using CMMS
- Worked in fast paced environment
The Package
- Starting salary of £40,000-£45,000
- Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:30

Our combined office, production and training facilities are located in Wath Upon Deane which is located close to Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley and Doncaster. Our state-of-the-art 165,000 square foot facility is just a 15-minute drive from either the M1 or A1M and boasts ample free on-site parking. We’re also located on a major bus route which is just a few minutes away from the train stations of Mexborough, Swinton and Wombwell.
