We process around 10,000 jobs each week, consisting of over 11 million printed items that include anything from menus in your local restaurant, right the way through to curating stunning books for luxury brands. This is where you come in, we are now seeking an ambitious and sales hungry Business Development Executive, that can nurture new and existing business to maximise spend and increase their life time value. Don't worry, we aren't expecting you to go in cold, all the clients you will be contacting will have either ordered from us before, or have recently signed up. What’s more, you’ll also have the opportunity to wander around our 165,000 sqft factory and actually see the products being produced, to bring you even closer to what our clients want, what else could you ask for?

Route 1 Print puts significant emphasis on deploying the latest tech, enabling us to stay one step ahead of our competition. We were the first company in the world to invest in nanographic printing technology with the purchase of a Landa S10 (Wait until you see it, it's like a spaceship) we decided to do one better and get 2, with the latest S10P due to arrive imminently.

The Role;

  • Contacting existing clients that show signs of their spend declining. We simply want you to find out why, offer them support and allow their business to flourish. After all, if our clients win, you win.
  • Every week we have lots of new customers join us. You will be the voice that welcomes these clients with open arms, giving them all the tools they need to make their order journey as smooth as possible.
  • From time to time our customers are enticed to do business with our pesky competitors, competition is healthy right?? Well, I know you don't like losing, so it will be your job to bring them back on board and rebuild the relationship.
  • Sometimes our clients may want something special, something that isn't readily available on the website. No problem, you will be able to offer a customised quote and provide that extra level of white glove service

You;

  • A sales hungry individual that knows exactly what’s needed to surpass all sales targets.
  • A strong willingness to learn, to never sit still and continually develop.
  • A strong team player, collaborating after all is the key to success.
  • Excellent IT and communication skills, with demonstrable experience in exceeding sales targets.
  • Not afraid to pick up that phone and see where the conversation takes you, after all, the more people you speak with the better chance you have of winning.
  • Understands how to effectively communicate with client queries via phone and email.
  • Holds significant pride in the quality of your work.
